Jack Quartet

Zweimal Komposition als ganz bewusster Akt der Klangforschung – Liza Lim (*1966, AUS) untersucht in ihren Werken kollaborative und transkulturelle Praktiken, und Catherine Lamb (*1982, USA) exploriert in Two Blooms die Zeitdimension und das Zusammenwirken einzelner Töne: „Time is slow“, schreibt sie selbst zu ihrem Streichquartett, „so that tones fill the space/blooming over time/in isolation/and in fusion“.
