The word GAZE (/ɡeɪz/) can have different meanings and connotations. It is often an act of intent. There’s the soft gaze and the candid gaze. There’s also the oppressive gaze. There’s the gaze of surprise and the gaze of admiration. There are often conversations about the male and the female gaze. But when talking about the QUEER GAZE, it is often seen from a creative perspective. The QUEER GAZE shows how LGBTQIA+ people create and view art.  It centres queer experiences in different forms of expression, shifting the attention away from the normative. The history of electronic music and club culture is deeply rooted in the LGBTQI+ community. 
At GAZE, we want to pay homage to those that paved the way into the undergound; from disco pioneers, to the creators of house music and the masters of techno. 
Come to the dancefloor with an open mind and open heart, as the story continues to be told by the new generations.  
To appreciate the fusion of art and queerness, to motivate and empower the community and to celebrate the origin of electronic music, Rumi von Baires & Holy Lolly are hosting are GAZE residents together with performer Sebas Gec.
