Wir laden ein – Sonne, Musik und genügend Platz – Open Air!

Covid_19 bedingt wird aus der Clubnacht ein Clubnachmittag. LAMES bietet Platz für Club-Community und zum Tanzen im Freien bei einem gemeinsamen Nachmittagsprogramm.
Um 13 Uhr geht es los mit einen Basic Workshop zu „Was ist Awareness?“ - der Workshop widmet sich dem achtsamen Umgang im Kontext von Veranstaltungen und Partykultur.
Ab 15:30 Uhr beginnt das Live-Programm auf der Hofbühne. Moderiert von der Zuckerlkettenfrau gibt es Stream & Radio in Kooperation mit dem Campus & City Radio St.Pölten 94.4. Das Programm kann also bei Schlechtwetter und für alle, denen der Spratzener Kirchenweg zu weit ist auch via Radio oder Stream empfangen werden.

Workshop – 13:00 – 15:00 Uhr: “Was ist Awareness?”

Der Workshops gibt einen Einstieg in Grundlagenwissen zu Awareness-Arbeit. Alle Interessierten sollen auf den gleichen Wissensstand gebracht werden. Im Zuge des Workshops werden gemeinsame Begrifflichkeiten ge- bzw. erklärt. Es werden unter anderem die Konzepte von Definitionsmacht, Parteilichkeit und Unterstützungsarbeit besprochen, sowie geklärt, was Termini wie ‘verursachende’ und ‘betroffene Person’ bedeuten oder was Trigger sein können. Es geht um eine kritische Diskussion über sexistisches Verhalten, Diskriminierung, Macht der Sprache, Einschränken der Freiheit von Personen sowie solidarisches Feiern.
Anhand ausgewählter Texte bzw. Textausschnitte werden wir erst in Kleingruppen, abschließend dann alle gemeinsam erarbeiten, was diese Begriffe für uns in der Praxis, auf Parties, im Vereinsleben etc. bedeuten können.

Als gute Fee poppt sie dort auf, wo es gute Mukke, eine laute Stimme oder Präsenz braucht, um urbane Kunst- & Klubkultur zu gestalten und zu leben.

Therese Terror (REIGN OF TERROR)
Therese Terror ist DJ, Veranstalterin und Geschäftsmann. Sie kuratiert verschiedene lineups – vor allem im kulturellen Kontext – und ist aktive Unterstützerin von Gendergleichheit und Diversität in der elektronischen Musikszene. Mit ihrer Serie Reign of Terror, die Pionieren elektronischer Musik wie auch Newcomern der lokalen Szene gewidmet ist, ist sie bei der Grellen Forelle. Zur Zeit hostet sie die zwei-monatlich erscheinende Radiosendung „Guilty Pleasures“ beim Wiener Community Radio res.radio. Ihre Sets bewegen sich vor allem zwischen House, Techno, Acid, Electro und Pop.

LAMES Club Night turns into Club Afternoon

Saturday, July 4th 1 – 10 PM

We invite you – sun, music and enough space to dance – Open Air!

Due to the situation caused by Covid-19 we turn the Club Night into an Club Afternoon. LAMES provides enough space for club community and to dance outside – accompanied by a workshop program, which starts at 1 PM. The AwA collective from Vienna offers a workshop called “What is Awareness?” that deals with careful approaches in the context of events and party culture.
The live program on the “Hofbühne” starts at 3:30 PM. Moderated by the Zuckerlkettenfrau the Campus & City Radio St.Pölten 94.4 offers a livestream on radio. In case of bad wheater and for everyone who can’t be at the party personally, the program will be streamed live.

Workshop – 13:00 – 15:00 Uhr: “What is Awareness?”

The workshop offers an approach to basic knowledge about awareness work. Everyone who is interested in participating will be brought onto the same level of knowledge. In the course of the workshop specific terms will be discussed collectively. Concepts like definatory power, partiality and support as well as positions like “causing” and “affected” person and thinking about how acts can become triggers are at the core of the workshop. We want to create a critical discussion on sexist behavior, discrimination, power of language, limitations of freedom and celebrating solitarily.

On the basis of selected (excerpts of) texts we will first work in small groups and later all together on the questions concerning the mentioned terms and concepts and what they mean on a practical level, on parties, in associations etc.

She is a club culture columnist at Radio FM4, organizes and moderates events and also keeps the club community connected via social media. You can see and hear her dancing in the first row at raves, behind the microphone on radio, on stage or in the club. As a fairy godmother, she pops up where good music, a loud voice or presence are needed to design and live urban art and club culture.

Therese Terror (REIGN OF TERROR)

Therese Terror is a Vienna based DJ, promoter and Geschäftsmann. She curates several lineups - especially in cultural contexts - and is an active supporter of gender equality and diversity within electronic music. She is a resident at Grelle Forelle with her series Reign of Terror, dedicated to pioneers in electronic music as well as newcomers within the local scene. She currently hosts a bi-monthly radio show „Guilty Pleasures” on the Viennese community radio, res.radio. Her DJ sets take in a wide range of styles from techno, driving acid, trance and leftfield electronica to pop anthems; fast-paced and full of references to various eras of electronic music.
