Helen Juren is a singer-songwriter who has been performing for many years. Her work as an artist is a search for dialogue between cultures, between arts and music to explore the links between peoples. Her Folk Ethnik album "Les Grandes Traversées" was released in November 2020. It is about "women through the cultures of the world". She sings in several languages (French, Czech, Zulu, Turkish, Spanish, Wolof, Kabyle...) to make the sounds of the world languages travel. Her texts speak about love, exile, women, and travels that take you far and near, in a mix of world music and French song on a background of Latino guitars and melodies from Africa and the East. The musicians who accompany him come from the World Music scene. In parallel to her stage work, she writes classical and free verse, in poetry collections and in songs. She has received several awards for her poetry and has been published in numerous collective poetry books.
On stage she is accompanied by Thierry Le Pollès on guitar and François Collombon on drums.
