With more than 1 million streams on Spotify and broadcasts on Austria's biggest radios Ö3, FM4 and 88.6, Viennese musician FREUDE lays the foundation for his very own alternative genre - the "New Viennese School". Sophisticated lyrics, unembellished emotions and brittle walls of guitars that resemble Viennese old building facades in their hard fragility. The spectrum ranges from cautious melodies to metaphorical melancholy to the loudly demanded revolution with sausage-like ease. A home for outsiders with an urge to improve the world, brooders lost in thought and all those between self-realisation and fear of the future.

THE CRAB APPLES (ES) - 19:45 Uhr
The Crab Apples is an indie pop band from Barcelona formed by Carla Gimeno (vocals), Laia Alsina (electric guitar) and Laia Martí (bass).
In 2014 they released their debut album, Right Here (Discmedi), which was followed by the EP Hello Stranger (Discmedi, 2016) and a tour that led them to play alongside great bands such as The Beach Boys, Nada Surf, Sidone and L.A. In 2018 they released their second album, A Drastic Mistake (Hidden Track, 2018). Following this, in 2019 they published the EP More Mistakes, accompanied by an extensive tour throughout Spain, which led them to take the stage at big national festivals such as Primavera Sound, Sonorama, VIDA.... In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, they released most of the singles of their third and most powerful album, CRAP, which is now available thanks to Spanish independent music label DSK Pop.

Soft Loft is a safe haven, an attitude, a way of life. It’s where the broken and the imperfect are embraced and celebrated. Soft Loft is non-hierarchical. Soft Loft is where reality is transmuted into dreams and dreams back into reality. Judgement is suspended here. Because vulnerability is the gateway to connection. Anything goes, as long as it’s heartfelt and it flows. Soft Loft is a collective of musicians dedicated to creating safe spaces using sound. Soft Loft are: Jorina Stamm, Sarina Schmid, Lukas Kuprecht, Simon Boss and Marius Meier.

LOL, who are you? The band's universal answer to the burning questions that interest no one: What genre is this? Why can't people understand the lyrics? Why do you have such funny hairstyles? On their latest album, the four musicians also help themselves to border-dissolving influences and let themselves drift in their own creativity in order to call the shittiness of things by their name. The "album" is a total of three very different EPs, which in the end add up to one big whole, the quintessence, so to speak - simply "No“. There are four songs on each EP, each dealing with the themes of feminism, police violence, capitalism and love.
